If you’re reading this, it means you have made it all the way to the bottom, through the massive amount of pictures I just uploaded… so congratulations! If you can’t tell by now, I’m in love with this time of year. Everything – the family, the fashion (getting all bundled up… I get to over-layer and over-accessorize like nobody’s business! Yay!), the decorations, the lights, even the cold late fall and winter air. I’m especially excited this Christmas, the first Christmas we’ll spend in our first home. We’ve been dreaming about this Christmas since before we were engaged, and so far, the season is better than I could have imagined. Living with these two crazy dogs of mine, and this sweet and hard-working husband I have – it’s absolutely my dream come true. Welcome to our home, Christmastime. We’ve been looking forward to you for a long time.
This top is the perfect little fall piece! When I received the box from Sugarlips, I was so excited to style this mustard color with my leopard scarf and, of course some boots! This season, mustard and ox blood are unstoppable, you know? I mean, look how wonderful it looks with the backdrop of the fall leaves. Be sure to check out Sugarlips Apparel for some super fashionable and affordable pieces for your fall wardrobe!
I’ve almost finished decorating the inside of our house for Christmas. Ross stained the deck over the weekend (it looks great! I’ll have to post a picture of the finished product). We have celebrated Thanksgiving two times already, and have two more to go! I love the holidays, and as things start to go into whirlwind mode, I have to remind myself to slow down and enjoy the season.
I didn’t set out to blog this outfit. It’s one of those outfits that you might deem “not good enough”. But I went through the effort of putting it on, so here we are! I’ve mentioned before that I usually don’t mix two different leopard prints, so this one is a bit of a risk for me. And, I’m glad I went with it. New experiences every day, I tell ya.
I started decorating our house for Christmas this weekend – and I’ve been wearing every scarf and pair of boots I can get my hands on! Happy November! One of my favorite months. Holidays are approaching, weather is chilly, football is in full swing, and there is plenty of time spent with family and friends.
